Learning Commons Visit

DUE TOMORROW: 3rd section of "Who is" Creative Assignment

I will check on Friday for all 4 written parts. That will be the last opportunity for students to earn credit for drafting the necessary elements.

Today was the deadline for students to turn in and/or complete a replacement assignment, unless I specifically spoke with a parent about that work. Some students have opted not to do the work or to take advantage of the replacement assignment--a choice I do not understand.

We visited the Learning Commons and some of the students set up their new Google accounts. This will provide them with an opportunity to choose which platform, Google or Office 365, to use. I've heard that the high school prefers Google, so now is the time to begin learning that platform.

We will continue our work on the history of immigration. The documents the students will be looking at will be used to compose an extended response next week. More coming on that task, but look for it around Wednesday.
