Please keep in mind that GMAS testing begins on Wednesday. All devices should be on airplane mode so as not to interfere with the wireless resources.

Monday

Classes are in the computer lab completing their typing of the Miss Lottie and "Hanging Fire" assignments. The Miss Lottie assignment must be submitted to Mrs. Field today, and the "Hanging Fire" must be submitted by Wednesday.

Tuesday

Students will work on completing the "Hanging Fire" handout and graphic. These will be completed with a partner, but each student will be assessed on his own work.

Wednesday-Friday **GMAS begins for sixth grade. No wireless connection/Quiet in the hallways

Students will begin their work on the "Coming of Age" essay

The first step will be to make sure that the six-box graphic has notes from all selections.

The second step will be to create a graphic that outlines the major points of the essay.

The third step will be to begin writing a draft.

The students will write individual paragraphs and have them reviewed before continuing.
