Monday, 27 March
**There were several students who missed as assessment on Friday due to absence. These students should come to Mrs. Field during KA to make this up.
Focus: Grammar (active/passive voice)
Reading Focus: "Marigolds" textbook assignment
Students will have vocabulary, reading, and literary tasks to complete as they read this story
** Students should add the poem "Identity" to their big sheet (6-squares)
Tuesday, 28 March
Focus: Grammar (coordinating conjunctions)
Reading Focus: "Marigolds" textbook assignment
Students will continue to work on guided sheets
Wednesday, 29 March
Focus: Grammar (coordinating conjunctions)
Reading Focus: "Marigolds" textbook assignment
Begin previewing The Outsiders. Students will use this film as one of their texts for the "Coming of Age" paper.
Thursday, 30 March
Focus: (commas)
Reading Focus: "Marigolds" - the sheets are due
The Outsiders (continue the film)
Friday, 31 March
Focus: Grammar (commas)
The Outsiders, finish the film and add the text to the 6-square writing graphic
**Anyone who misses parts of the film will have to arrange to view it with the teacher or independently. This is one of the selections that must appear in the 'Coming of Age" essay.
