Using visual to create an argument

Today we had a mini-less on active and passive voice. This is one of our grammar standards for this nine weeks.

We went back to our discussion on why immigrants left their homelands to come to America. Students also got to see how certain conditions led to that migration and how certain conditions in America caused a decline in immigration.

Our second document was about an Irish immigrant who left her homeland because the English taxed them so much they had nothing left, even though they worked so hard. Death and longing had become a part of their daily lives.

I checked for section 3 of the "Who is" assignment, and 4 is due tomorrow. This is the final "draft" check, so I will enter that grade.
