Students turned in their "Who is" visuals; I appreciate those students who worked hard to get their work done on time and encourage everyone to set that goal. The initial grade will be for completion of the assignment only. A later grade will reflect the content of the visual.

We are continuing our work on completing the immigration documents; these are the documents students will use on the Thursday assessment. This is our first really big task, but students should feel confident about being prepared to address the task.

All documents will be completed tomorrow, allowing students to have Wednesday to think about writing their extended response. The response has been provided and students are encouraged to outline or create an organizer to help them plan.

We will begin discussing how to write arguments and our next big assessment will be a written argument, including a claim, evidence, and a counter claim.
