Reviewing for QPA

Students were provided with a QPA study guide as an extra credit assignment and to help remind them of the expectations for the first quarter QPA. There are 21 multiple choice items on the study guide, and if students answer, and provide a logical explanation as to why they think their response is correct, they will earn 20 extra credit test grade points.

We will go over the study guide on Friday and review a couple of other standards.

While students work quietly on this or their grammar project, I am going through their persuasive essays in order to highlight for them flaws in their writing. They have an opportunity to correct these major issues before the test and before I assess the final essay. Hopefully, this will better prepare them for their writing.

Grammar projects are due on Monday, but students will have had more than enough time in class to get this assignment completed.
